flick of Crihs’s winning manifests:

Crihs tore his second manifest. Thanks to quick thinking on the part of the guys working the checkpoint, he was able to salvage his race - dudes ran after Crihs with the missing piece without which he had no idea where to go next!
The race was two manifests long.
First manifest was 12 checkpoints, spread throughout Manhattan. Everyone received the first manifest.
The top 20 to complete the first manifest received a second manifest with 5 more stops.
The top TEN to complete the second manifest received a DIRECT RUSH run to Affinity Cycles in Brooklyn.
Finally, the top FIVE received a final TRIPLE RUSH run to the finish/after-party at Galapagos.
Here’s a look at the first manifest:

Each of the checkpoints (except the Bronx Jon, Trackstar, MetroBikes and Continuum stops) was an actual location that the NYC messenger named on the manifest picked up or delivered at on the Friday before MTX. DAY IN THE LIFE OF A NYC MESSENGER. Tough stuff!
